| Embark on a journey through
the picturesque winelands of South Africa indulging in tasting some of
the world's most renowned wines. Add to that the pleasures of fine dining
and a safari in a Private game reserve.
Day 1. Depart/Canada. Depart
on your overnight flight by Air Canada from Canada to London, Heathrow.
Day 2. London. Arrive London,
Heathrow and transfer to South African Airways overnight flight to Cape
Town, South Africa.
Day 3. Arrive Cape Town. Welcome
to South Africa! On arrival at Cape Town INternational Airport you will
be met and transferred to your hotel. Close to the vibrant Cape Town City
centre the hotel offers spacious rooms and suites overlooking the Atlantic
Ocean or Lion's Head. Protea President Hotel (2 nights)
Day 4. Cape Peninsular Tour. Enjoy
a full day Cape Peninsula Tour. Find out first hand why it's called the
'Fairest Cape' as you visit Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, Sea Point
and Camps Bay as you travel towards Hout Bay. Then on to the Cape of Good
Hope Nature Reserve and its scenic viewing point. Return via Boulders
Beach and Simon's Town back to your hotel. B
Day 5. Stellenbosch Wineries.
Depart Cape Town on a full day trip of the Cape Winelands. First stop
is at teh Afrikaans Tall Monument on the outskirts of Paarl followed by
a scenic drive to teh French Huguenots. Visit on of the many fine wine
estate in Somerset West and Stellenbosch. At Vergelegen take a cellar
tour and enjoy wine tasting and then continue to Blaauklippen for more
wine tasting and lunch. After lunch (included) we visit JC Le Roux for
some sparkling wine tasting. Near the end of the day you check-in at your
hotel. Flanked by two international class golf courses and a fine selection
of wine farms, the Protea Stellenbosch offers a fine dining restaurant,
action bar and sun deck overlooking hte Blaauwklippen vineyards. Protea

Day 6. Cape Winelands. After breakfast
you have another full day of wine tasting in the the Paarl & Franschhoek
areas. Visit vineyards such as Fairview, Laboria and then onto Boschendal
for a wine tasting and lunch. After lunch your last stop will be at La
Motte before heading back to the hotel. Dinner is included at the hotel.

Day 7. Stellenbosch/Oudtshoorn.
Depart for Oudtshoorn. En-route you will visit Graham Beck in Robertson
for Red Wines, then onto Montagu Winery for Red Muskadel & Boplass
in Calizdorp. |
Travel via the interesting "Route
62" through the Little Karoo to Oudtshoorn, the ostrich capital of
the world. After checking into your hotel enjoy a guided tour of an Ostrich
Farm. These flightless birds are rapid runners and reach speeds of approximately
65km/hr. Your accommodations tonight are at this charming well-appointed
hotel, with its thatched rondavels and Cape Dutch-style rooms, offering
luxury air-conditioned accommodations. Protea Riempie

Day 8. Oudtschoorn/Knysna.
This morning, visit the Cango Caves, one fo the world's great natural
wonders. Time permitting, we will pay a visit to the Cango Wildlife Ranch
for the opportunity to touch a cheetah, to see rare white Bengal Tigers
and a pigmy hippopotamus. Later, travel over the Outeniqua Pass to George
to visit the Outeniqua Railway Museum and board the Choe Tjoo, a steam
train to Knysna. Overnight at the Protea Knysna Quays a tastefully decorated
hotel. All rooms feature deluxe en suite bathrooms with separate showers,
satellite TV and air-conditioning. Most of the rooms offer a magnificent
view of the lagoon and yacht basin. (Optional: Afternoon or sundowner
curise available on the John Benn-departure from the Knysna Marina). Knysna

Day 9. Plettenburg Bay and Knysna.
Travelling along the Garden route you will be able to try different wines
at Plettenberg Bay and Mamper. This enormous horseshoe of a bay not far
from Knysna, is one of the most glamarous and beautiful spots along the
Garden Route. Dinner this evening will be at the Weldon Kaya Village.

Day 10. George/ Johannesburg.
Transfer to George Airport for your domestic flight to Johannesbur and
transfer to your hotel. Located in the up-market suburb of Sandton your
accommodations are in stylish rooms facing onto the hotel's rose garden,
fountain and swimming pool. Protea Balalaika Hotel.

Day 11, 12 and 13. Johannesburg/Sabi
Sands. Private transfer from Johannesbur to
Lion Sands Private Game Lodge, situated in the Sabi Sands. En-route you
travel the "Panorama Route" which includes such sights as the
gold rush town of Pilgrim's Rest, God's Window, Blyde River Canyohn and
Bourke's Luck Potholes. In the afternoon, arrive at Lions Sands Private
Game Lodge. Time to relax and freshen up before meeting your guide for
an afternoon game drive in the resrve. Lion Sands Private Game Reserve
is situated in one of the wildreness areas in the Southern Kruger National
park region. This superior deluxe game lodge offers the hightest standard

rooms in the South Camp and at the River Lodge. |

Day 14. Sabi Sands/Johannesburg/Depart.
An early wake-up call this morning for your game drive in the reserve.
Return to the lodge for breakfast, before checking out and transferred
to Hazyview (Perry's Bridge) where you will connect onto the Hazyview
shuttle that takes you to Johannesburg airport in time to board your overnight
international flight on South African Airways to London, Heathrow.
Day 15. Arrive/Canada. Arrive
London, Heathrow and connect with your Air Canada flight home.

Canada to South Africa.
- Domestic economy class airfares as described in the itinerary.
- Meet and Greet service and shuttle transfers airport/hotels
