Day 2 Wednesday - D Arrive
Paris Arrive in Paris and transfer to Hotel Astor Saint Honore,
ideally located in the center of Paris. Excellent shopping and
dining are within walking distance. You have the remainder of the
day at leisure. In the evening, meet your group at the hotel for a
welcome drink. Together, enjoy a dinner and reception at the
restaurant, Boeuf ser le Toit, near your hotel.
Day 3 Thursday - B Louvre
Tour/City Tour/ Shopping in the Fashion District After breakfast
at the hotel, enjoy a full-day sightseeing with photo stops of
Paris. Begin with a guided visit to the Louvre Museum. Then, drive
down the Champs Elysees. See the Arc de Triomphe and view the Sacre
Coeur which is perched on top of the hill overlooking Paris. You
have time to enjoy a lunch on your own at a sidewalk cafe.This
afternoon, enjoy a tour of the fashion district, Avenue Montaigne
and Avenue George V, where many fashion shops and houses are
located. Learn the history of haute couture and of the many famous
designers who helped make Paris one of the fashion capitals of the
world. Return to the hotel late this afternoon. This evening, enjoy
an optional dinner from the first floor of the Eiffel Tower at the
"Altitude 95" restaurant. After dinner, bask in the atmosphere of
Paris by night. Meander down the River Seine with the Bateaux
Parisians cruise($114).
Day 4 Friday - B,D Cooking
class at the Ritz Escoffier School/Antique hunting with
guide After breakfast, journey with an experienced guide to the
6th Arrondissement where many renowned antique stores and shops are
located. Learn the art of antique hunting and enjoy the shopping
experience. This afternoon, explore Paris independently. Meet with
your tour manager this evening for a hands-on cooking class with
master chefs at the culinary institute, where many of the chefs in
famous hotels and restaurants began their profession. Enjoy the
fruits of your labor.
Day 5 Saturday - B,D Free
Day With a full day free to explore Paris, you can shop in
world-renowned department stores, Le Printemps and Galleries
Lafayette or perhaps you may want to consider a morning tour of
Versailles. Versailles exemplifies the Grandeur of French classical
architecture. In the beautifully decorated State Apartments, Hall of
Mirrors and Queen's Apartments, be enthralled by the life of the
Kings. Stroll around the palace as well as the gardens ($74).Return
to your hotel and meet your tour escort in the lobby for your
farewell dinner at local restaurant, Les Noces de Jeanette.
Day 6 Sunday - B Conclude
Paris After breakfast, transfer to the Paris airport for your
return flights home. Au revoir
